MachiCart ("we", "our", "us") operates the MachiCart and MachiCart Driver mobile applications. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: Name, email address, phone number — provided during registration.

Delivery information: Delivery addresses, GPS location (only when you tap "Use My Location"), postal code.

Payment information: Credit card details are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card number.

Order information: Order history, product selections, delivery preferences.

Device information: Push notification tokens (FCM) for delivery updates. Device type and OS version for app compatibility.

Analytics: Anonymous usage data via Firebase Analytics to improve the app experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Process and deliver your orders
• Send order status updates via push notifications and email
• Process payments and refunds
• Determine delivery zone and calculate delivery fees
• Improve our app and service

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Stripe: Payment processing
• Amazon Web Services (AWS): Cloud infrastructure
• Firebase (Google): Push notifications and analytics

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on AWS servers with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and authentication (AWS Cognito). Payment data is handled by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure.

5. Your Rights

• View and update your profile information in the app
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Opt out of push notifications via device settings

6. Location Data

We access your GPS location only when you explicitly tap "Use My Location". We do not track your location in the background.
